As a professor, Kevin Caporicci, Ed.D., has three areas of focus. First, to share knowledge. His goal is to stimulate individual and collective intellectual growth through developing keen insight and curiosity in the classroom. He strives to expand students’ personal learning boundaries in a laboratory setting in order to broaden their individual and collective knowledge. Second, to honor community. He seeks to embrace each of the richly diverse individuals within the community. He focuses on instilling knowledge, self-confidence, and experience in each individual in order for that person to spread their experiences with others. Lastly, to embody service. He is willing to serve the needs of students and the organization in order to achieve outstanding results. Caporicci’s day job is as a section manager in the acquisition division at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. He completed his doctorate in Organizational Leadership at Pepperdine University. He is fluent in Italian, and has more than 20 years of business experience, including overseas diplomatic missions for the United Nations. Additionally, he has published several articles on leadership. He and Laura are the proud parents of Matteo and Elena.
