Rachel Bodell, ABD, is the director of APU’s intensive business- and ministry-oriented European study-abroad program known as LAPEU. Her greatest joy is watching students become empowered, confident, and more energetic about investing in others through business and service. She works with local businesses and organizations, including the ARDENT group and the Azusa Community Scholars, to engage her students in meaningful hands on marketing service-learning projects, and she teaches global marketing, consumer behavior, principles of marketing, and international business. Bodell has been nominated at an international conference for her research work in corporate social responsibility and luxury brands. She has more than 15 years of experience ranging from customer service to business development, and has specialized knowledge in ethical marketing communication strategy. Her industry expertise includes health care, information technology, cosmetics, and hospitality.
