Rachel Sharpe Bodell, ABD, is an assistant professor of marketing and consumer behavior at Azusa Pacific University with nearly three university degrees from three countries. She is also the founder of APU’s intensive business- and ministry-oriented European study away program known as L’APEU, which originated in 2010. Her greatest joy is watching students become empowered, confident, and more energetic about investing in others through business and service. She works with local businesses and organizations, including the ARDENT network group in Glendora and the Azusa Community Scholars, to engage her students in meaningful, hands-on marketing service-learning projects. Rachel has more than 15 years of experience ranging from customer service to business development, and has specialized research knowledge in ethical marketing communication strategy. Her industry expertise includes health information technology, cosmetics, hospitality, and higher education.
