*All core courses may be taken in any order except HROD 500 and MGMT 597. Course HROD 500 must be taken near the beginning of the program. Course MGMT 597 must be taken near the end of the program.

Frequently Asked Questions

How often do I need to be online for this program?
You must be online sufficiently throughout each week to participate in threaded discussions and to complete all assignments by their designated deadlines. However, there is no prescribed amount of time or designated time that you will be required to be online because assignments and their deadlines will vary throughout each nine-week course.

Will I have to complete any part of my Online MAM program at an APU campus location?
No. You can complete your online business management degree entirely online. No campus visits or meetings are required.

How long is a semester?
The School of Business and Management graduate programs run on nine-week terms. Two nine-week terms comprise a semester.

How many units do I take each term?
To be classified as a full-time graduate student, one must be enrolled in at least nine units during each of the two nine-week terms (e.g., Fall I and Fall II or Spring I and Spring II). Students can take one to two classes per term.

How soon can I finish this program?
This program can be completed between 1 1/2 and 5 years. Most students complete the Online MAM program in 18-30 months.
