School of Business and Management Undergraduate Application

The School of Business and Management encompasses three diverse programs: Business, Economics, and Ethnic Studies. Within these three programs are multiple options for majors and minors.

Bachelor’s Degrees

Accounting Major
The Accounting major surveys the principles, theories, and concepts of the accounting profession while providing an intense review of the economic, quantitative, and managerial aspects of business.
Business Economics Major
The Business Economics major provides students analytical skills built on a strong general business foundation. This major focuses on business management responsibilities and the improvement in business decision making that comes from a deeper understanding of the economic environment of business including labor, environmental, and international issues.
Business Management Major
This degree develops competence in conceptual, human, and technical skills necessary to enter into both public- and private-sector organizations.
Economics Major
The Economics major prepares students to think critically and analytically and prepares them to address complex problems in a wide variety of settings.

Finance Major
This program aims to equip students with the theoretical understanding and practical skills necessary to evaluate and direct decisions regarding the allocation of financial resources.
International Business Major
International Business incorporates a liberal arts approach to the disciplines of politics and cultural interrelationships as the program surveys the dynamics of an interdependent global business environment.
Marketing Major
The Marketing major provides students with a strong general business foundation, plus marketing courses that address the primary functional concerns of marketing in industry and commerce.
