As the onstage rivalry between Citrus' Blue Note Orchestra and Azusa Pacific University's Jazz Ensemble enters its eighth round, the only clear winner is still the audience!

Actually, bandleaders Robert Slack (Citrus) and David Beatty (APU) are good friends, and their passion to inspire and present musical excellence has resulted in national prominence for the on-stage student competitors. The crowds for this annual "battle" grow every year, so don't wait to get your tickets!
