The Shape of the Air - Kathyrn Gilmore
Posted by: Department of Art and Design
An installation by Kathyrn Gilmore (MFA '14) that explores the shape of the air in time via regular and irregular manipulated wire grids. A three-dimensional, gridded form (324 cubic feet in volume) with a permeable barrier, devoid of any interior substance but air, hovers slightly above the ground, allowing air to pass in and out, rendering the shape of the air in time.
