Born with a nearly imperceptible case of cerebral palsy, Simning was stricken with an extremely rare muscle and nerve disease in the eighth grade. Five years confined to a wheelchair and unable to care for himself, Chris experienced a miraculous healing that allowed him to finish two degrees at APU. Simning is a popular speaker at camps and conferences.
