This exhibition with works by MFA student Andrew Oakes, is about how we see and how advertising sees us. The work is a tongue-in-cheek tribute to the transient definition of "meaningful" in mass media message making and its ubiquitous role in our cultural and visual landscapes.
Join the artist in his love/hate relationship with an industry and an art form that has put food on his table for nearly 20 years.
Opening Reception: Tuesday, September 11, 6:00-8:00pm
