Tuesday, Nov 27, 2012, 5–5:45 p.m.

Posted by: Department of Art and Design

This is the last lecture of the Fall semester with a guest artists collective known as Finishing School. L.A.-based Finishing School is an exciting interdisciplinary artist collective established in 2001 that explores contemporary social, political, and environmental issues. Their projects conflate praxis, play and activism and seek to engage audiences through various participatory models. The group has had projects and interventions at major cultural venues such as the Hammer Museum, OCMA, LACE, and MOCA.

The artists will discuss their recent projects and open the floor to questions.

Location:

John and Marilyn Duke Academic Complex, Lobby, West Campus
