Join this panel discussion, as part of the 40th year celebration of the Department, with Graphic Design alumni Courtney Brillhart, Nicole Chin, Mitchell Dong and Brian Pappagalo.
Courtney Brillhart ('05) spent the first part of career primarily in print design and advertising. Her t-shirt design for an environmental-awareness art show was published on Communication Art's website and publication. She currently works for Kaiser Permanente, transitioning from Senior Web Designer to the User Experience team as an Interaction Designer, focusing on KP's website and mobile app.
Nicole Chin ('08) is currently the Art Director for a small marketing communcations team at the central offices of the Foursquare Church. She graduated from APU having studied journalism, communication studies and graphic design.
Mitchell Dong ('11) works at The Cambridge School in San Diego as their Marketing and Communications Coordinator and with a variety of non-profit organizations as he grows his freelance clientele. As a designer, he is fascinated with the creative process as it takes place in the individual and in community.
Brian Pappagalo ('03) is a communications consultant to diverse industries in both for-profit and non-profit sectors. He focuses on brand development and information architecture.
