Learn about the problem of evil and suffering at the 3rd Faith Matters Lecture of 2013-2014.

Faces of Evil presented by Matthew Hauge, PhD & Craig Anderson, PhD.

Evil and suffering are inescapable aspects of life. Because they are unavoidable and can strongly affect us, they are worth understanding. Unfortunately, popular Christian discourse about evil is often excessively narrow, missing the rich breadth and complexity with which the Bible treats the topic. In this lecture we trace the development of the personification of evil throughout biblical texts, from its obscure beginnings as a watery chaos dragon to its eventual manifestation as the Devil.
