The founding pastor of Bayside Church in Granite Bay, Johnston is the president of Thriving Churches International. He is an APU alumnus and serves on the Board of Trustees at APU. He previously taught at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and earned his graduate degree from Fuller Theological Seminary.
