This session will model interactive activities that promote and nurture diversity sensitive student engagement techniques in the classroom. Elizabeth Barkley's Handbook for College Faculty will be introduced as a resource for personal and professional capacity building. Participants will walk away with diversity sensitive engagement techniques and activities to enhance instructional practice that can be used in all disciplines.
