Denu is a professor of graduate social work and a Fulbright alumna to South Africa. She has published works in the areas of African-American issues, women and family matters, welfare reform, and international relations. Denu, an ordained minister, continues to speak and do ministry in the greater Los Angeles area, as well as participate in ongoing ministry throughout the world.
