An assistant professor of biblical studies, Hauge has written, co-edited, and contributed to three volumes: The Biblical Tour of Hell (2013), Character Studies in the Gospel of Mark (2014), and New Testament and Empire (2014). He is the co-chair of the Society of Biblical Literature Seminar on Markan Literary Sources, and is a regular speaker at professional conferences across the country on ancient literature. An APU alumnus, Hauge serves as theologian-in-residence at his local church body, Mountainside Communion.
