Posted by: Department of Art and Design

All Art and Design students are invited to engage with traditional photographic techniques in this Windgate Workshop with Tim Scott on Wet Plate Collodion Photography.

The workshop will expose and give the participants hands on experience working in one of the original 19th century photographic processes. With the popularity of digital technologies, photographers and designers are looking for other hands on techniques, which give wholly unique results.  This workshop will open them up to new avenues to explore which will set them apart from other artists.

Tim Scott is a Los Angeles based creative director and photographer.  He has worked for top agencies in NYC with global and national brands.  He has a passion for large format wet plate photography.

Participants should wear clothes that could get stained.

All supplies and a free lunch will be provided!
