“In Light of the Gospel, Who Are We?”
The Value of Worshipping Together in a Utilitarian World
During a phase of his conversion to Christianity, a famous musician wrote a song entitled “You gotta serve someone.” His song captured a reality that we often miss — we were created to worship and whether we know it or not, we are worshippers — either things of this world, including our own goals & dreams; or we consciously and daily surrender our lives in service to God as a community of Christ-followers. Join a panel of faculty from Drama, Music, Biblical Studies, Philosophy & Theology as we discuss how to be worshippers in all aspects of our lives, not just in church on Sunday.
Panel:
Monica Ganas—Drama
Justin Marc Smith—Biblical Studies
Josh Rasmussen- Philosophy
Paul Boles—Theology
Jacquelyn Winston, Moderator
