 "Students with Special Needs"

Victoria Stuard, Ed.D - Victoria Stuard is the Associate Director of the Learning Enrichment Center and an Assistant Professor at Azusa Pacific University since 2003. Victoria began working with disabled students at the age of 19. Victoria has gained much of her professional experience through a variety of opportunities in community colleges, universities, and private practice contract assignments within educational, medical, and law enforcement venues. Victoria has provided leadership in improving services for students with disabilities and the Deaf community by advocating for their rights and providing legally mandated services. She has been a certified interpreter for the Deaf for approximately 40 years interpreting in post-secondary institutions, medical, psychiatric, and law enforcement settings.  Victoria obtained her Doctorate of Education in Organizational Leadership from Pepperdine University with a dissertation that focused on Perceptions of Interpreter Qualification.
