The departments of Campus Safety and HR/Workplace Learning have partnered to provide this RAD training for APU staff and faculty women.

WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?

R.A.D. (Rape Aggression Defense) is designed to provide realistic self-defense options to women, regardless of their level of physical conditioning.   Conducted over 2 days, this training includes safety information, hands-on defense methods, and simulations which allow participants to utilize techniques learned in the course. Women of all levels of ability, age, experience, and strength will be provided with practical information and techniques that can be effectively used from the first day of the class. (Participants may elect not to participate in any section of the training that they are uncomfortable with.) For more information on R.A.D. go to http://www.apu.edu/campussafety/prevention/rad/.
