Dr. Lyrica Taylor, an art historian, will be giving a lecture on the artist Lynd Ward in connection with an ongoing commemorative exhibit in the Darling Library Rotunda.
Lynd Ward (1905-1985) is an artist best known for first bringing the graphic novel to America. His six graphic novels were all comprised of woodcut prints and no words. This exhibit is a collaboration between the Art & Design and Theatre Departments.
