 Flipping the Classroom - Part 1: Creating Content Wed, November 12, 1:00pm – 2:30pm   Are you turning handsprings about the flipped classroom? Or would you just like some tips on how to flip? The flipped classroom is a form of blended learning in which students acquire new content online through video lectures, reading, slide decks, etc., usually at home, and what used to be homework is now done in class with teachers offering more personalized guidance and interaction with students, instead of lecturing.   Part one of this two-part workshop will cover

Part two, offered in spring, will focus on developing practice exercises suitable for the flipped classroom, including forums/discussions, online quizzes, polling, case studies, collaborative assignments, simulations, and publisher-provided materials.
