APU's Department of English welcomes poet Brett Foster, Ph.D., for the annual James L. Hedges Distinguished Poetry Reading. Foster is the author of a collection of poems titled The Garbage Eater (2011), was a finalist for a Drake University Emerging Writer Award, and was selected for the Debut Poets feature in Poets & Writers magazine.
