LMS Advisory Committee Meeting- Sakai Update

This semester's LMS Advisory Committee meeting will be held on Thursday, April 9, from 2-3:30pm on East campus in Wilden 200.

Purpose of Committee

The Learning Management System Advisory Committee (LMS-AC) is an advisory group to the Office of Innovative Teaching and Technology (ITT). It advises ITT on strategic planning, policy guidelines, and support opportunities and challenges related to APU’s learning management system (LMS) - currently Sakai. The committee meets regularly to receive important product updates, learn about best-practices, and provide critical feedback with the ultimate goal of improving the user experience and increasing use. For those of you who previously expressed an interest in becoming involved with the group, please be sure to plan on attending. If you are current faculty and would like to be a part of the group, you are also welcome to attend. The setting is informal and we will try to answer questions as they arise during the presentation. For the first hour, we will cover the following topics:

The final half-hour of the session will be set aside as a time where those interested can ask additional questions or request additional information on ways to improve usage of Sakai. Please join us on Thursday, April 9, from 2-3:30pm on East campus in Wilden 200. Please RSVP here.
