Azusa Pacific University Oratorio Choir, John Sutton, conductor

Mozart: Don Giovanni Overture
Steve Reich: The Four Sections (1986)
Mozart: Requiem

Two of Mozart's most dramatic works open and close the program. It begins with the overture from his darkest opera, Don Giovanni conducted by Artist Certificate student Xiaomin Liu. The program closes with Mozart's final work, the Requiem, one of his towering masterpieces. John Sutton conducts that work.

In between is a vibrant work by American minimalist Steve Reich celebrating his 80th birthday this year. We perform his work The Four Sections which features each of the sections of the orchestra. Christopher Russell conducts this work.

No admission charge and no ticket required.
