Committing to Equity, Diversity, and Inclusive Excellence: Transformational Cultural Change for Student Success in STEM

Panel Presentation:

A panel of APU faculty and students in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) disciplines will share their stories and experiences of pursuing studies in these fields as under-represented minorities.  They will discuss factors that motivated and detracted them along their journeys and present ideas for continuing transformational cultural change in the STEM fields.  Attendees will learn about specific curricular and instructional techniques as well as classroom climates that lead to inclusive excellence and success for all learners, particularly under-represented minorities in the STEM fields.​
