Deans' List Students: VIP Dinner with Dr. Frederick Kagan and Faculty

The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences has invited 12 Deans' List students to join Dr. Frederick Kagan along with faculty from the Department of History and Political Science for dinner prior to Dr. Fagan's lecture on November 5th. Dr. Fagan is a Resident Scholar at the American Enterprise Institute and Director of the Critical Threats Project. Dinner begins at 5:15 p.m. and the lecture, "U.S. National Security and the Expanding Threat of ISIS," follows at 7:00 p.m.

About Dr. Frederick Kagan:

Dr. Kagan is a Resident Scholar at the American Enterprise Institute and Director of the Critical Threats Project. He was one of the intellectual architects of the successful "surge" strategy in Iraq and authored the 2007 report Choosing Victory: A Plan for Success in Iraq and has written many books including Lessons for a Long War (AEI Press, 2010).
