Educator Hiring Fair - Student/Alumni Registration

Overview: APU's School of Education's Educator Hiring Fair connects schools, districts, and education-related employers with graduating students and alumni who are planning to secure positions in education.

Location: Azusa Pacific University, Upper Turner Campus Center 901 East Alosta Avenue Azusa, CA 91702

Student/Alumni pre-registration is open from February 1 - April 1, 2016. No onsite registration allowed. 

Free to all APU students and alumni. 

What Will Happen At The Educator Hiring Fair? 

Representatives from schools, districts, and non-profits/for profits will have tables set up and will speak with candidates about their anticipated openings.  Representatives will also learn more about candidates' interests and qualifications. Candidates will be able to speak with employers briefly on a first come first served basis.  After these initial conversations, employers can choose to interview candidates in a designated area or give candidates additional information to apply to their positions.  Other representatives will only collect resumes and noting first impressions for their use. We encourage you to network with a variety of representatives throughout the morning.

Professionalism and Preparation

Candidates must dress business professional as you would for an interview. Remember that no matter how long your interaction is with a HR professional, you are creating a first impression. Bring several copies of your final resume.  Suggestions on resume formatting and tips can be found on our Career Resources page

Parking

Parking is free and no pass is required.
