Teaching pastor at Menlo Church in Menlo Park, Ortberg is the author of numerous books on spiritual formation including The Life You’ve Always Wanted (Zondervan) and Soul Keeping (Zondervan).  An ordained pastor, Ortberg holds both an M.Div. and Psy.D. from Fuller Seminary.
