Many faculty have questioned the role of the Christian Scripture in non-theology classes. Careful interpretation along with real-world application of God's word has a place in academic faith integration. This workshop aims to clarify the place of the Bible, particularly for faculty working in non-theology courses. Join us and learn how to approach the Bible and make use of it from a faith integration perspective. In designing this workshop, our aim has been to provide faculty with personal encouragement and professional insight for engaging the Scripture both informationally and formationally. Examples will be given for how faculty who love and respect the authority of God's word, but who don't feel equipped, can take steps to engage the scripture appropriately in the university context. (Handout and resources will be provided)
