The Sophia Forum
November 11, 2016, 7 p.m.
November 12, 2016, 1 p.m.

Created by a generous anonymous donor, the Sophia Forum aims to promote Christian philosophy and pay tribute to those who significantly contribute to it. Each year the philosophy program at Azusa Pacific University invites a renowned Christian philosopher to formally lecture two nights on topics of their expertise, as well as on being a Christian philosopher. The guest speaker also spends time with students and faculty throughout the days they are visiting our campus. This year’s guest speaker is Peter van Inwagen, a professor of philosophy at Notre Dame. His topic Friday night is “Hell,” and Saturday afternoon’s topic is “I Look for the Resurrection of the Dead and the Life of the World to Come.”
