The Faith & Spirituality Integrated SBIRT Network is holding its first annual training summit. Co-hosted by APU’s departments of social work and psychology and the School of Nursing, the summit prepares faculty to integrate the network’s online SBIRT (Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment) training into their curriculum, helping them equip allied health professionals with evidence-based strategies for culturally competent engagement with patients who exhibit unhealthy drug and alcohol use.
