The decision-making ability of an older adult may be influenced by the natural process of cognitive aging, capacity and psychosocial factors.  Following this workshop, helping professionals will have enhanced ability to provide functional assessments of older persons by receiving training in the use of three evidence-based assessments that inform decisional capacity.
