"Do you remember the look of scars? Wounds once bleeding with red, with time fade into a gently pink line of shimmer. Occasionally, when sunlight hits my arms, silvery lines would become apparent saying, "'remember the fight that's already been won'". My scars are a constant reminder to me of not just my pain, but my redemption. This is my story of fighting through depression. This is a celebration for the small but eternal spark of hope I found in the midst of darknes."
