Join us for an evening of exploration of the Dead Sea fragments. Dr. Robert 'Bobby' Duke, Dean of the School of Theology at Azusa Pacific University, will guide us through new findings of groundbreaking research that show the reliability of Holy Scriptures. Portions of The Dead Sea Scrolls and ancient artifacts will be on exhibition.

Robert 'Bobby' Duke, Ph.D.

An expert in Old Testament, the Dead Sea Scrolls, and Second Temple Judaism, Dr. Bobby Duke has spent almost four years studying in the Middle East, which has highly influenced his perspectives and teaching. “Visions of Amram,” his dissertation from UCLA on the Aramaic Qumran text, was published as The Social Location of the Visions of Amram (4Q543–547), 2010. Dr. Duke has published articles and book chapters in Dead Sea Discoveries, Scandinavian Journal of the Old Testament, and other publications which have significantly added to the discussion and scholarship of OT studies.
