Teaching with Technology Institute (TTI)

Monday, June 26, 2017–Wednesday, June 28

The Teaching with Technology Institute (TTI), formerly known as the Course Redesign Institute (CRI), offers faculty an opportunity to improve their teaching through the effective selection and application of academic technology.  Our theme this year, Just Keep@It, comes from 1 Timothy 4:16, focused on the importance of continual growth and development.

Faculty participants will receive hands-on training and practice with using APU’s learning management system, Google Apps, video recording studio, mobile devices, and a flipped classroom model -- all aimed at enhancing the student learning experience.  Faculty will walk away with a teaching plan that can be implemented immediately.

All faculty, including adjunct and regional center faculty, are encouraged to apply. The institute will take place in-person at the main campus in Azusa.  Faculty participants will receive $250 of credit towards relevant professional development purchases (e.g., books, technology, conference registration, professional membership, etc.).
