As director, my role is to provide overall leadership for the Center for Assessment and Program Review; serve as the executive for the University Assessment Council; structure and encourage the assessment and program review processes across the campus; supervise the center’s staff; assist the provost with WASC accreditation processes; and monitor the assessment field to identify best practices.
McBride is also professor of psychology and education and teaches applied statistics as well as Strategy and Planning. He earned his Ed.D. from Indiana University and Ph.D. from Oregon State University.

My duties include assisting the director in implementing assessment across all academic and student life departments; consulting with deans, department chairs, and faculty/staff; coordinating assessment and program review processes; assisting with WASC accreditation processes; and managing the day-to-day operations in the center.
Brown is a graduate of APU, having earned her B.A. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology in 2004 and M.A. in Human and Organizational Development in 2005.

As the graduate intern, it is my goal to gain an expertise in APU’s assessment processes. My responsibilities include training faculty and staff on the usage of TaskStream for APU’s assessment process, coordinating department mission statements and student learning outcomes, and reviewing assessment related submissions by faculty and staff.
Eng is a graduate of California State University, Los Angeles, with a B.A. in Social Science. He is currently working toward an M.Ed. in College Student Affairs at APU.
