MIS/CIS Continuum

The 39-unit program is presented in 12 classes or modules, and includes a Capstone Project. The curriculum is comprised of classes on general business topics (Courses 2, 5, and 11), core technology (courses 1, 3, 4, 6, 10, and 12), and also in the chosen specialty track (courses 7, 8, and 9).

Students choose a specialty track, either MIS or CIS, when they apply. As students move through the program (see the chart below), they take one course at a time and stay in their assigned cohort, regardless of their chosen specialty. However, for courses 7, 8, and 9 students split into their specialty groups and focus on their chosen track in MIS or CIS.
