Profile
Matthew Kamper is an adjunct professor for the Center of Adult and Professional Studies (CAPS) at Azusa Pacific University (APU). Prior to teaching high school biology and earth sciences for six years for the Unified School District of Redlands beginning in 1999, Kamper worked two years as a graduate research assistant for University of California, Riverside and University of Arizona. He also served as a laboratory assistant for Calvin College/University of California, Riverside.
Kamper’s experience in biology and earth science greatly adds value to CAPS. His research includes several scholarly publications on the topic of detecting viruses in environmental water. Kamper furthers his passion for science as a member of the American Society for Microbiology, American Water Works Association, and the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
