Robin Smith, Ph.D., worked as the associate professor and chair of Christian ministries, and was the director of field education and internship programs at George Fox Seminary in Portland, Oregon. She has also served as an associate professor in the Department of Religion and Philosophy at APU; pastor-director of women and family ministries in the Early Childhood Ministries at First Church of Nazarene in Pasadena, California; director of child development at First Presbyterian Church in Arcadia, California; and founder and director of Foothills Christian Day School. Smith speaks at professional conferences, parent education conferences, seminars, women's conferences, retreats, and training seminars for various groups. She is also a frequent guest preacher for various congregations, and has served as a consultant to churches and parachurch organizations regarding Christian education, leadership, problem solving, and spiritual formation.
