Robert Sylvia, Jr., M.A., is an adjunct professor for the Center of Adult and Professional Studies (CAPS) at Azusa Pacific University (APU). Robert spent seven years serving as a nuclear engineering officer in the United States Navy. For the past eight years, he has worked for TXI Riverside Cement as head of the Quality Control Department at the company’s Oro Grande, California manufacturing facility. Robert integrates his expertise in leadership, quality management, process improvement, labor relations, employee training and industrial safety with APU’s curriculum.
