Career and Life Planning Courses

Career and Life Planning Courses are offered during the fall and spring semesters for three units. These courses are electives for the leadership minor, can be taken by any undergraduate student, and are designed to help students identify and develop their academic and career paths.

LDRS 103: Calling, Major, and Career Exploration: A Strengths-Based Approach to Life Planning is designed for underclassmen and LDRS 303: Career and Life Planning is designed for upperclassmen. Professors emphasize subjects such as identifying and refining gifts and talents, deciding on a major and career path, and undertaking a job search. Other potential topics include budgeting, assessments, graduate school, interviewing techniques, internships, interests, skills, and much more.
