Graduate School Fair

Azusa Pacific University is not only known for its outstanding academics, but also for its one-of-a-kind student body. APU attracts hardworking and dependable students who seek to maximize their educational experience. This scholarly engagement translates into focused, dedicated graduate students.

The Office of Career Services offers the Graduate School Fair in October of every year. This event serves as a liaison between APU students and representatives from more than 60 graduate programs across the country. Universities are consistently pleased with the caliber of graduate students recruited from the fair.

Nursing Career Forum

Azusa Pacific’s School of Nursing graduates enter the health care field with a solid foundation in research, theory, clinical skills, and hands-on community service, setting them apart as leaders in their profession qualified to change the face of health care delivery. Career Services hosts an annual Nursing Job Fair in the fall (either October or November), where top medical facilities network with our highly trained graduates.

We invite summer camp and nonprofit organization representatives to come to campus and recruit students for part-time, full-time, and/or temporary summer employment.

Evening with Industry

Every spring, the Office of Career Services hosts a networking event called Evening with Industry that allows employers and students to interact over a delicious meal. Students and alumni can brush up on their networking skills, gain valuable insight into available job opportunities, and learn about dressing appropriately in the workplace.

Teacher Career Forum

APU produces credentialed teachers who are professionally prepared to provide quality educational programs that effectively meet the needs of the children and youth in public and private schools. As one of the largest credential-granting private institutions in California, APU graduates are recruited by school districts throughout California and other states. Teacher Career Forum welcomes public and private school districts to interview candidates on our campus. Past years have included 60 school districts conducting over 945 interviews with qualified candidates.

Resumania takes place each year during Healthy Living Week. At this event, the Career Services staff will provide drop-in resume advice for students on Cougar Walk. If you are interested in helping critique student resumes, please contact our office for more information.
