APU Students and Alumni

Every spring, the Office of Career Services hosts a networking event called Evening with Industry that allows employers and students to interact over a meal. This allows students and alumni to brush up on their networking skills, gain valuable insight into available job opportunities, and learn about dressing appropriately in the workplace. The cost is only five dollars, which includes an amazing meal and a fantastic opportunity to meet local and national employers. Students and alumni will have the chance to:

  • Learn how to dress for success.
  • Begin networking in preparation for the Career Fair.
  • Interact with a variety of organizations in numerous fields such as the entertainment industry, business services, educational facilities, and marketing firms, among others.

Past corporate participants include:

  • Disney College Program (Entertainment, Business)
  • Los Angeles County Sheriff's Dept. (Law Enforcement)
  • Pasadena Child Development Associates, Inc. (Social Work, Psychology)
  • Rhythm & Hues Studios (Entertainment)
  • Russ Reid Company (Advertising, Marketing)
  • Southlands Christian Schools (Education)
  • Target Stores (Business)
  • Thrivent Financial for Lutherans (Accounting, Business)
