Our Service-Learning Advocates have returned for the 2009-2010 academic year and are hard at work preparing for 70 Service-Learning courses this semester alone. There are currently 1325 students enrolled in Service-Learning courses that will be working on a variety of projects ranging from T.A.P. (Teacher Assistant Program) in the Azusa and Glendora Unified School Districts to Angel Sing, a program that takes music to the elderly in the local community at Christmas time. We are very excited about this academic year and the impact that we as an APU Community will have on those we serve.
