Carissa Burkett (Art '08) in group exhibition in New York at Miranda Fine Arts. Carissa, a MFA graduate student at the Vermont College of Fine Arts, and prominent artists such as Mira Schor, Kiki Smith and Faith Wilding, will be showing in this provocative exhibition that considers the current climate and view of the female body and control.

BIRD is a multi-disciplinary agency with over 20 years experience with some of the biggest names in the entertainment and lifestyle industries. They have won two ADDy awards for their "Do You Flip?" advertising campaign for Cisco.
(MFA '11) presented a paper at the Verge Conference: Arts and Ethics
in Trinity Western University, British Columbia, Canada. The abstract of his paper entitled, "Encounter Engineering: Strategies and Questions from a Participatory Practice" posits that as an artist who makes participatory objects, it is his goal to "foment in my audience mild discomforts and minor embarrassments, highlighting automatic social habits and temporarily hacking them."

Lucien Saxton (MFA '09) and Tony Caltbiano (MFA '11) are in a group exhibition, The Last Word as part of the SEEDS Fine Arts themed exhibits. Invited artists responded to the prompt, "If you were to die tomorrow, what would be your last message via your art?” This will be on view at the Ecclesia Congregation (the former classic Hollywood Pacific Theatre) and the Hollywood community for the month of November.
