This is the last lecture of the Fall semester with a guest artists collective known as Finishing School. L.A.-based Finishing School is an exciting interdisciplinary artist collective established in 2001 that explores contemporary social, political, and environmental issues. Their projects conflate praxis, play and activism and seek to engage audiences through various participatory models.
The group has had projects and interventions at major cultural venues such as the MOCA, Hammer Museum and the California Biennial. FS has also presented projects internationally in The Netherlands, Switzerland, Thailand, England, Spain, Mexico, Brazil, and Italy.
The artists will discuss their recent projects and open the floor to questions.
This event will take place on Tuesday, November 27 in the Duke Lobby, West Campus from 5:00-5:45pm.
