Studio Art Concentration
The B.A. in Art is available in two concentrations: Studio Art and Teaching/Art Education. Students should decide on an area of concentration by their junior year and notify the department.
The Studio Art concentration is a liberal arts degree. Students who plan to go on to graduate school should take additional courses in a focused field of study, i.e. photography, paining, etc., 12 upper-division units to apply to the M.A. program, and 18 upper-division units to apply to a MFA program.
