Professor, Department of English, Azusa Pacific UniversityJoseph Bentz teaches courses in American literature and writing. His most recent books include Pieces of Heaven: Recognizing the Presence of God (2012) and God in Pursuit: The Tipping Points from Doubt to Faith (2010). His novel, A Son Comes Home (2007), won the Silver Angel Award, was selected for Guideposts Book Club, and was chosen as one of the Top Ten Christian Novels of the Year by Booklist magazine. In 2003, Bentz received the Undergraduate Faculty Outstanding Scholarship Award from Azusa Pacific University.

Professor, Department of English, Azusa Pacific UniversityDiane Glancy left retirement to return to teaching and the creative writing classroom. Her latest collection of essays is The Dream of a Broken Field (2011), and her most recent collections of poetry include It Was Then (2012) and Stories of the Driven World (2010). She has won two National Endowment for the Arts fellowships, a Minnesota Book Award, an Oklahoma Book Award, and an American Book Award from the Before Columbus Foundation.

Professor, Department of English, Azusa Pacific UniversityDiana Glyer is intrigued by the creative process, particularly the way creativity thrives within small groups and creative clusters. She holds degrees in art, education, literature, and composition. She has published extensively on C. S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, Joy Davidman, and the Inklings. Glyer is the author of Clay in the Potter’s Hands (2011) and The Company They Keep: C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien as Writers in Community (2007).
