Profile
R. Scott Okamoto, M.A., came to APU from a career in freelance journalism. After working as an adjunct for three years, Scott was promoted to lecturer and oversees standardizing the Introduction to Literature program and researching the future master’s program. He hopes to return to school to earn his doctorate, as well as finish two novels. Okamoto also directs the writing mentorship program for The School of Nursing's graduate programs.
