Clovis Blackwell received his MFA from Azusa Pacific University, and a BFA from San Francisco Art Institute. His work has been exhibited in juried international competitions and group shows in California, New York, and Washington D.C.. Themes of suffering, perseverance, and transformation are central to his artistic identity. Clovis lives and works in the Los Angeles area with his wife, child, and two dogs. He teaches at Azusa Pacific University and strongly believes in the Oxford Comma.
